Sonae Arauco‘s OSB products meet the new requirements of the Model Administrative Provision on Technical Building Regulations with regard to the Health Protection of Structural Installations (MVV TB, Annex 8 ABG). This is confirmed by the voluntary report of the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).

Sonae Arauco relies on a modified product recipe to reduce emissions, significantly lowering VOCs levels for OSB without compromising product quality.
The DIBt certificate is valid for Sonae Arauco constructive OSB products in accordance with DIN EN 13986, “Wood-based panels for use in construction” and the European product standard EN 300, “Oriented Strand Boards (OSB) – Definitions, classification and specifications”. It includes the following products:
