Concerning the product portfolio, the Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) from Sonae Arauco are verified by Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V. and provide a transparent view of its environmental impacts through a life cycle assessment, as well as its technical and functional characteristics. They are quantitative and objective assessments based on the EN15804 standard, enabling the evaluation of environmental impacts throughout a product’s life cycle . Sonae Arauco has EPDs for all product ranges under the Core & Technical®, Innovus® and AGEPAN® brands. 

In addition, all Sonae Arauco solutions comply with the applicable requirements of the EU REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals), which is designed to help protect human health and the environment.
