More than 2000 participants visited Sonae Arauco stand during the largest intern

Sonae Arauco, one of the world's largest producers of wood-based panels, participated recently in Interzum in Cologne, Germany, with a stand of approximately 350m2, where it presented its new brand and launched new solutions for its portfolio.

For Rui Correia, Sonae Arauco's CEO, Interzum was a unique opportunity to present the brand to the world and to show a company that "(…) has an industrial soul, with goals focused on a robust growth, along with long-term business plan, based on a vision of sustainable production, which incorporates solutions aimed at improving the quality of life of people."

It must be recalled that Sonae Arauco emerged in May 2016, as a result of a joint venture that brought together two companies, leaders in their markets, who share the same goal and vision of taking wood further.

It is due to this vision and to the constant monitoring of trends that two new finishes were presented at Interzum: Fusion, which presents a warm natural touch, reminiscent of handcrafted wood; and Stucco inspired by industrial environments, urban lofts and natural origin materials, with a concrete texture.

The acceptance of these two new proposals could not have been more positive. With a central emphasis on the stand, these new finishes have distinguished themselves in the fair for their texture, which gives them a distinctive and exclusive touch.

The attention to detail, the quality of the materials presented and the hospitality were elements that enlightened the presence of Sonae Arauco in this event and that have contributed to the positive balance that results from this participation.

This year, Interzum had the largest number of exhibitors (more than 1,700, from 60 different countries, distributed in 185 thousand square meters), which received almost 70 thousand visitors from 152 countries (which was a record number and 19% higher than the last edition). Through the stand of Sonae Arauco passed more than 2,000 visitors who had the opportunity to see firsthand its new corporate image, the new solutions and product range.
