Between 20 and 23 February, the Dach + Holz International 2018 opened its doors in Cologne for more than 45,000 visitors and 576 exhibitors from 35 countries. AGEPAN® SYSTEM’s trade fair presentation this year was a complete success. On an exhibition space of 75 sqm, it was possible to cultivate existing business relationships and to make many new national and international contacts.
In addition to the tested fire protection and sound insulation constructions, the two recent developments AGEPAN® DWD black and AGEPAN® DWD 600 were the top highlights. Both of them were developed based on “AGEPAN® DWD protect”, the well-proven original for 20 years.
The uniformly dyed AGEPAN® DWD black is a vapour-permeable fibreboard and is ideal for use in façades with open strip lining. Whether for rhomboid cladding or other modern façade solutions, this is the optimal substructure. An additional façade membrane is not required in that case.
The AGEPAN® DWD 600 stands out due to its increased bulk density of 600 kg/m3 and is suitable for fire protection constructions according to DIN 4102-4. This gives architects and planners more planning latitude in the future.
AGEPAN® THD Install’s exceptional strength could be tested on site. Designed as an interactive element, the interested public had the opportunity to fasten by screws a gypsum board directly into the AGEPAN® THD Install surface layer. The compression-proof internal insulation and alternative to the conventional installation layer is used in roof and wall areas.
The visitors were pleasantly surprised by the elastic and comfortable trade show floor made of AGEPAN® functional wood. The substructure we chose for the legs tired from the fair day was the AGEPAN® TEP. It is quick to lay, can be walked immediately, and it is elastic and thus shock-absorbing to protect joints. Thanks to its resistant surface and the innovative asymmetrical bulk density profile, the AGEPAN® TEP can be used as a dry floor construction element and covered directly with laminate, parquet flooring or floorboards.
