Sonae Arauco joins the United Nations Global Compact
Sonae Arauco has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. This step reinforces Sonae Arauco’s commitment to responsible business practices and its alignment with internationally recognised principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption.
By becoming a participant, Sonae Arauco voluntarily commits to integrating the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact across its strategy and daily operations, and to transparently report annually on its progress through the Communication on Progress (CoP). Sonae Arauco will also continue to contribute to the advancement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through its participation, Sonae Arauco joins a global network of over 20,000 companies and 3,800 non-business entities, collaborating to promote sustainable and ethical business conduct.
