About the project
Schildmeyer, a German furniture manufacturer, has developed a new collection using Innovus® decorative panels from Sonae Arauco, produced with around 70% recycled wood — a solution that highlights both companies’ commitment to sustainability and the efficient use of resources.
“Sustainability plays a central role for us – both in production and in the selection of our partners. With Sonae Arauco, we have a supplier at our side who shares our values and convinces with innovative products,” says Elisa Kemper, Managing Director of Wilhelm Schildmeyer GmbH & Co. KG.
Comfort as a key theme
The new Emmik series, developed for entrance halls, bathrooms and home offices, combines functionality with a natural aesthetic.
With decorative boards such as Innovus Karlstad Oak Pale (M6323), naturalness takes center stage: “The design radiates calm, friendliness, and warmth. At the same time, it is highly versatile when combined with plain colors. What I like most is that the base tone remains consistent, which allows for a tone-on-tone look, while the stripes add a subtle accent,” explains Kemper.
The natural look is further emphasized by the Flow texture: This unique, classic texture impresses with gentle cross lines. “This makes the surface of our furniture look very authentic, which is becoming increasingly important for end consumers.”
